Same scam, different prefix; the brand new one for Houston TX originally set to open on July 1. The message is (roughly, this time) "We are bringing a law suit against you, call this number to find out the details." The Caller ID number matches that number and is...a 'mobile telephone user' ID. SCAM

Different scam, same number--this time it's a 'home alert system for seniors'. EXACTLY the same number--to mine. A callback just resulted in their phone ringing--except that a search revealed that the number is bogus. --It was a canned message. Don't press 1, evidently. Pressing any other number results in an eventual disconnect; pressing '1' means that you; want the free gift; want to continue AND indicate that you don't want to receive further calls of this type. http://www.allareacodes.com/reverse-phone-lookup/ actually works and is free (except for cell phone traces, and it will give a choice of 'trustworthy' pay-for-trace sites; I would say it's PROBABLY legit. Note I qualified that, please.
