Yes, 7am this criminal called me, just a bot. Call back (stupid criminal, too) gave me recording saying "Thank you for calling. Press 1 to be added to our do not call list." It plays 3 times, then says "Thank you for calling" and hangs up. Lookup of the number shows it belongs to DOTTIE BOTTING ---- very funny, BOTTING stands for BOT - so "Dottie making robo calls"!
What phone company idiot sold that number? It belongs to Peerless, was subbed out to another company who sold it to the user.
Peerless tells me they CAN'T divulge to me the NAME of the other company, because then THEY would be breaking privacy laws. (Are you beginning to understand that our CONGRESS has passed laws to protect & make money for the COMMUNICATIONS COMPANIES while shoving it up the backside of the consumer?!!)
At least the engineer at Peerless was nice enough to send an email to the offender. At first, he was going to tell them they were "annoying" me. I gave him a polite lecture on THE LAW and told him they were committing a CRIMINAL ACT. He asked why I didn't call the police.
So then I asked him to picture himself the police chief who has NO EVIDENCE to pursue, no personnel to spend hours or days trying, and NO COOPERATION from the communications provider. After than, he understood and told me he re-worded the email to include ILLEGAL ACT to the company who sold ole DOTTY BOTTING 346-867-0705!
Fight back, call your 2 SENATORS and 1 CONGRESSMAN and RIP THEM A NEW ONE! They took part of the $40 million dollars per election just AT&T passes out. They made money while you got screwed! And the coms companies laughed all the way to the bank when Congress passed the "DO NOT CALL LIST" legislation, which they knew would only provide law-breakers a good list of people who answer their phones!!!!
It was one of the free security system scammers that have been harassing me for over a month with up to 3 calls a day. Starting at 7 AM every now and then. It is a girl and meanwhile I recognize her stupid soothing voice that she uses to lure you into installing her stupid [***] home security system, which is neither free nor protective at all. Usually I don't answer or immediately hang up. I actually told her to take me off the list multiple times as I am neither the home owner nor interested, but she keeps coming back with different phone numbers. This was the first time she called me from a phone without area code or anything... Super annoying!!!!
