They called me cell phone saying I owe them money and that I will be put in jail if i don't pay now. Person had a very heavy accent Indian accent. I am getting so tired of these calls. They are calling me everywhere. I have contacted the attorney generals office regarding these calls but when will they stop.
OK these fools are calling me around the holiday time with this CRAP these are scammers they are threatining ma about JAIL I am not worried cause when you come pickme up the will be coming to pick you up as well . You will not get a call back and you will not get any info from me . so keep calling and I will keep not answering my phone ..
I received a call from them on my cell phone early this morning, and then several times at work. This has not been the first time, but the first time for this telephone number. Each time I hung up at work, they called back. When I said that I worked in a law firm, that I would be suing them, and that I had reported them to the Attorney General's office, I haven't heard anything more. I"m not holding my breath, though. They initially said they were from a law firm. Then the man said he had to get the head attorney on the phone. When he got on, I could hardly understand him with the strong Indian accent. Not sure why they initially called. They never really said. Just harassing.
They called and left a message on my answering machine saying his name was David Cooper (yeah right) I could barley understand that middle eastern man, I have yet to meet a middle eastern with an American name saying the same [***]. I don't know how these idiots get all my info? I just don't answer the phone when i don't recognize the telephone number, it's annoying, they are annoying, its all a bunch of freaken crap..No one seems to know how to stop these idiots from this scam!
I just had this same thing happen to me, the same number and David Cooper with a thick accent. He said there was 3 suits against me and I need to call them back or have my lawyer call them immediately and that I could loose my job it if I don't. This kind of stuff really pisses me off!
This annoying caller with a very indeterminable accent calls himself Tom Smith! He threatened with"pending" legal action in my voice-mail. If I receive another call I will forward to my local immigration office.
