Call blocker becomes useless because telemarketers/scammers
change spoofed phone numbers very often.
You can block one and another one will pop up next day.
The call may be originated from foreign countries
that nobody can do anything about it.
It's multimillion dollars industry that provide jobs for the hopeless and unemployed.
They can feed themself and families ,even at the bottom of society.
Turn off the ring tone or unplug the phone would be the solution.
I to got a call from this number (347-200-9362 -Kisher Johnson) @ 8:14pm - did not answer. I use an
answering machine, any name or number I do not recognize I let the machine take.
Any 'honest' call will leave a message. I do not list my phone numbers on the 'National Do Not Call'
list because it just gives the telemarketers your active phone numbers and if you do answer a call
and it asks you to 'press (any number) to be put on their do not call list' or have your number removed
from their 'calling list' - all you are doing is verifying that the number they called a live active number
and you will continue to get calls not only from them but from others... they share! buy and sell lists!
I just set my machine to answer after 2 rings so I catch all the automated calls and if I'm watching some
thing of real interest on TV or working on the computer, I simply turn off the phone ringer. Some days
I'm bored so I turn off the machine and let it ring until they hang up - seems to really piss them off
according to some of the messages I get after I turn it back on. I know, my bad! but have to have some
fun in life now-a-days.
