Oh Man, I can't believe I can get a free medical alert system. Yesterday I got a call that I won a Ford Explorer.
I am so lucky. Who would ever think that @#$% scumbags like this would be giving away free stuff. Maybe they have repented and now want to give back what they stole from poor unsuspecting people over the years. Yeah, and maybe I'll get appointed Pope. Now they are in my call blocker, providing I have room for them.
They called today and left a message on my answering machine. It was the "free" medic alert scam. What makes them think that you
can press 1 or 9 or whatever when they are talking to an answering machine? Obviously there is no real person at the other end
unless it's a really dumb person.
Gawd! I wish AARP would get the message from me! About once every 2 weeks I throw away the latest "membership card". I too got the pre-recorded message from this number that I'm now "eligible" for a "free" medical alert something-or-other. Hey a**hole! - don't you think that, by now, nearly everyone knows that NOTHING'S FREE! I was wondering where these scammers got my number - now, thanks to this site, I have the answer. Just another AARP hustle. I stopped answering calls from numbers I don't recognize. I figure if it's important, they can leave a message. No message = no return call from me. Bu**sh*t message/scam, same thing.
