Same as all the above. I called back and a kid answered then hung up. I called again and a middle eastern guy answered. i didnt answer his questions, but he knew my address. I refused to co operate, He told me to go to the court house. SCAM, most definetly.
Major scam. Just called the number back and he wanted additional information from me, like my full name and number. I said never mind and hung up. Not playing into that. The IRS does not operate this way AT ALL.
I received a call supposedly from the IRS stating that they were filing a lawsuit against me and to call their department number 347-221-6159. The call was from New York state.
