So I've been noticing a bunch of weird phone numbers calling me lately, but I keep missing the calls. This time I picked up and it was someone calling to say that I'd won a free trip. I was inclined to believe them at first because I did fill out a form at Comic-con in NYC, but as they went on it sounded way too good to be true. The woman claimed that I'd won a 3 day, 2 night trip to Orlando along with a cruise to the Bahamas, and then went through listing a bunch of stuff that i'd get for free. Sat on the phone for ten minutes waiting for the catch, and when she started asking for my credit card I begged off and told her to call back tomorrow so that I'd have time to research this and make sure I'm not being scammed. Has anyone heard of something like this?
