they called from New York, NY about 10 minutes ago and I said hello 3 times and an indian man answeted and was talking about a loan and I immediately hung up. it has to be a scam.
I get these calls a lot also But mind say that I owe the IRS And that there's a warrant out for my arrest What do they think we r stupid I just don't answer anymore
Calls every hour on the hour for four hours in the morning. Don't know the number so don't answer the call. All I can say is STOP CALLING ME I DO NOT KNOW YOU AND I DO NOT WANT TO KNOW YOU!!!
They have called my house so many times I decided to have a little fun with it and see how long I could keep this guy from India on the phone. He had no idea what country he was even calling. He asked me if I lived in Paris - this person could barely understand English. I asked him repeatedly if he knew what the no call list is? He wouldn't answer. I said I would like to talk to your manager. He replied I do not have one. I said let me talk to who pays you. He was so frustrated. He said do you have a brain? I am trying to give you free money. I said yes I am a member of mensa and I am smart enough not to believe that you are going to give me free money. Total silence. Then he said, you are wasting my time and I am going to hang up. Mission accomplished! That was the best laugh I had had in a long, long time.
The next time a telemarketing company calls me I am going to tell them I am busy now but if they will tell me what time they eat dinner with their family and give me their home phone number, I will be happy to call them back at that time.
This number called me and when I answered I could hear that they picked up the line and then hung up. I called them back. The phone rang once. The lady that sounded like she from India said hello. I said Hello back. She said I am so and so and I called you today to let you know that you are approved for your loan. I said first of all I called you so how can you say I called you ? And second of all I want you to stop calling this number and you should just stop calling anyone in the USA, we do not want your scamming [***] and she hung up on me.
