Same here, they just called me a second ago which was the 3rd time ever I believe.
They answer the call and just say "Account Services" which could easily mislead someone. When I asked them to please stop calling me, the lady immediately hung up the phone. Very dishonest practice, I hope they go to jail.
I just received a call from this number, and I pressed one. A man told me he needed to qualify me, so he asked me if I have a total of at least $4000 on my Visa or Mastercard. I lied and told him I owe a total of $5500 (I actually pay my balances off every month). Then he asked me if both my cards are currently open, and I said yes. Then he asked me for the phone number of my credit-card company, and I asked him for his number first. He told me that he's just qualifying me, and I said I wanted his number in case I had to call him back. He kept making excuses and calling me "man" (about seven times) and "bro:"
"Hey, man, I'm just trying to qualify you."
I asked him where he was located, and he said they had offices all over the country. I told him I had a brother in Michigan, but that has nothing to do with my question. Where was he located? He wouldn't tell me. Then he hung up on me.
I urge people who get these calls to press 1 and waste their time. Hopefully it won't add me to some other list where they call me more, but it was fun to string him along for a while.
Idiots called me at 9:40am PST, I listened to their recording and I knew right away it was a scam of some sort. Annoyed by the call I stayed on the line and pressed one for an operator, I asked "How do I get my number removed" before I could finish my sentence I heard the phone slam. DO NOT ANSWER OR GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION. I belive they are cold calling numbers in a sequence they do not have any sort of information on the numbers they call. I also can't find any information of their alleged company "credit services."
Got the same call on my cell as everyone else. Wanting to lower my credit card interest rates. They've called 4 times so far. 3 times I've pressed 1 to speak to a real person. First time I said, "I want my number removed from your list." They hung up on me. Second time I said, "What credit card is this in regards to?" Hung up on me. Today, they asked for my name and I said, "Actually I was wondering how you got my number and what card this is in regards to." She said they are "credit services something something, 551 different credit card companies, blah, blah, to qualify you must have an interest rate of 10% or more and have credit card debt of at least $6000. Does this apply to you?" I replied, "No" and she hung up on me. I think next time I will say it does apply to me and string her along a little longer. Also, I've called the number back but get a recording saying, this number is not accepting calls at this time.
