I'm seeing this number pop up on my Caller ID daily by now. This time the idiot called at night and I answered and that person hung up on me. So from now on, will ignore that number.
Receive at least 5 calls a week from this number. I also get a "this number is out of service" message when I call back. Does anyone know the most effective way to stop this?
I receive a call at least 3 times per week from phone number (347)274-2125. The latest was on a Sunday evening at 8:30pm. I did not answer it, but this time I called it back to see who it was, and received a recording telling me that this number is not in service. How can it show up on caller ID if it is not in service. Is verizon not doing it's job? Either way, it's disturbing to recieve these calls and not be able to do a thing about it.
I received a call this evening from a gentleman who was solicited for breast cancer donations from this number. He was checking with us about the legitimacy of the call. He reported that the caller from this number was soliciting for the Breast Cancer Society and that the caller became verbally abusive when he asked questions about the organization. (There is no Breast Cancer Society.) We advised him to report the call to his local police department.
I've been receiving these calls too from this number. Most of the time they hang up, but yesterday a lady asked if we had been calling a 347 number. After some convincing that we must have misdialed, they hung up. I'm telling ya...they have messed with the wrong person.
