I've gotten the same calls for about the past month. They have contacted my sister and boyfriend SEVERAL times a day. Anytime I ask for their corporate phone number and address they refuse to provide the information and hang up on me. I looked up the phone number, it's coming out of Staten Island, NY. I have no unpaid loans, I have also checked my credit report as well. This is a TOTAL scam. You can report them to the Federal Trade Commission at FTC.gov. Hopefully with enough reports they'll get shut down! hope this helps!
jusy got a call from 347-286-7122. heavy indian accent says i own 350.00 for an online payday loan, i have never had one. threats of lawsuits, arrest, and jail time. after 10 min he finally gave me name of company cashland, i called them and verifyed i had no debit with them, i called him back to get his attorny info so i could forward this refusing to give to me, these calls have been comming in to my cell since last thur 5 to 10 times a day. now im calling them every 20 min harassing them for there atty info, they asked me why im calling the the nerve of them......lol....BIG SCAM DONT GIVE THEM YOUR INFO AND DO NOT VERIFY ANYTHING....the have my soc number address and bank info, im reporting them to athorities. BECAREFUL
I am getting the same kind of call about supposedly to have an online loan I didn't pay. I don't have a loan I didn't pay.I couldn't really understand him well because he had a heavy accent I could not hear much of what he was saying.He was saying something about having my s.s. number.
