We actually ended up having no problems booking the trip. Had a great time, no problems. We did have to sit through the time share presentation, but got our accomodations for 6 nights, and tickets to Universal Studios. it worked out to be a good deal, not a scam at all.

Got a call from this number, promising a free trip to Orlando FL & Cabo San Lucas Mexico. I was instantly skeptical but for fun listened to what this woman had to say. Then the pitch, she wanted our credit card # for some "admin fee" at which point we ended the call. Scam.
Same story for me.I had dinner at the restaurant in Bryant Park last Monday.
A woman called me Sunday. She wanted me to take down info but I didn't have a pen. She said someone would call back. No one did...so I began my research.
The # is registered to Eric Lewenstein. Google him to confirm the scam
My wife and I received a similar call last year and ended up registering for the vacation. We just got back from Florida and I have to admit we had a great time. The presentation was pretty painless, just a bunch of people trying to either upgrade the vacation or sell you something else which we politely declined and enjoyed the rest of our vacation. We kind of felt as if we ripped THEM off because of everything we received!
Its nothing more then a marketing strategy that many companies utilize. Ive been in Marketing for almost 25 years and am pretty familiar with these promotions. I havent paid for a vacation in years! If your fortunate enough to be selected I recommend these trips for anyone looking to save some money. We are going to Cabo San Lucas next!
