I had got same call by this women on May 4. She pretended that she was IRS to issue IRS Warrant too!
However, She never knew my any address and cheated me that she was IRS to send me mails in April and scared me that she want to make notice police to arrest me.
I asked her to confirm my address but she could not answer my address.
So, I told she is faker and cut off her phone.
Please donot trust this fraud phone and this women.
I had the same SCAM call as above. I received 2 calls today 5/4/15. A woman who told me her name is Alyissa Brown with an Indian accent was stating she is from the IRS and has issued a warrant for my arrest. She said she send some letter to me but I have never received any letter regarding the tax issues. She mentioned an address she send a letter to which was my husband apartment address that far back to many years ago.
Okay, this is getting a little ridiculous, I've been getting the same IRS SCAM phone call for a MONTH now! And I did register on the donotcall.gov website! This is really starting to upset me. Here are the following SCAM phone calls that have been calling me, they ALL seem to be East Coast New York area code numbers 347.
347-305-4142 on 5/4-5/5
347-741-8239 on 5/5
347-274-8319 on 5/6-5/7 Caller ID: Neha Jhaveri
347-467-1096 on 5/15
347-627-0937 on 5/19
347-331-0681 on 5/20
347-960-4231 on 5/22
347-284-6596 on 6/1
Hope this helps if you are unsure of the phone numbers you've received! If they're any of these, it's an IRS Scam.
Make sure to register your number on the Do Not Call list at donotcall.gov - hope this helps!
Talked to "Lucy Roland" this morning from 347 781 5926 saying the same thing. When I asked her for information to verify her claim. She said she was going to hang up and let the police serve the warrant because I am "hiding from something". I told her to go ahead and that was that. It infuriates me how people like this sleep at night. They must have friends and family members they have to live with. As a Christian who deeply desires to be merciful, I can only pray for her and the likes of her.
I have a suggestion for anyone who gets the call again. Tell her that she got your name wrong. Tell her your name is Neha Jhaveri and you are an Indian who scams American citizens on the phone and see what she says.
Another suggestion. When she asks if you got a letter in the mail, ask her if she used UPS, Fedex, or post office because you are in ISS as in International Space Station and they don't deliver there.
