Have received two call from this person. One was from a Ga. area code, one from a NY code. Both tried to sound like a law enforcement agency or investigator. Both said they were trying to contact a person I do not know (different person each call). Am guessing they want a call back to gather your information or some other scam.
Called and left voicemail on my phone stating she was a police investigator and I was passing bad checks (never in my entire life) and wondered if I had retained counsel yet. Scared my kids. If I weren't me, I'd have been scared. I called back and the same woman yelled at me and told me to hold. I hung up.
