Yeah. Same scam thing. Caller says she is from Comcast offering free Cinemax. First thing when I pick up I get a message saying the call will be monitored for blah, blah, blah. Usually, I only hear that message when I am the one doing the calling. Nervous woman's voice next asks for some account information. At that point, I realized it was a scam and hung up. Caller ID just says "New York"
THis number called last night, and I was leary of it. I did not answer, but instead googled to see if anyone else was having problems. COMCAST SCAM.
Do not answer.
Verified my information as I thought it was a call from Comcast. They are NOT from Comcast. I see that other people have had this issue, but how does one go about fixing this? Since I verified my name, address, phone, email, and birthdate information (things they already had), what will happen with this information? More phone scams or something worse like identity theft? Does anyone know how I could go about preventing either of these things from happening?
Someone calls me on my cellphone every evening, at least once or twice. I have the "Contact" saved as an "Unknown Caller." I do not answer and let it become a "missed call." Is anyone else having this same problem?
has called me EVERYDAY for the past 3 months sometimes multiple times a day. just called again at 5:06 pm when I answer they never respond so I only answer once in a while to see if they say who they are... PLEASE STOP CALLING ME!
