I agree. Do NOT pick up numbers you do not recognize. I got the same message on my voice mail twice in short period of time today. Same BS, same accent. It is a scam and an attempt to get money. I am also going to call my Attorney General PLUS the FTC. I got threatening messages about 18 months ago telling me I owed the IRS money and had one week before they were going to foreclose, etc., etc. (I rent, my Landlady is still laughing). Our TV News Reporter had just warned us that week of many complaints from citizens in our area re same subject. I called my Cable Company who I have my phone with (along with Cable & TC). They told me I could trace where the calls came from and told me where to locate the site on my TV and then turn them over to the FTC. I found the site and over the next 3 weeks, recorded time of calls and origination point. It moved all over the Country. I had almost 40 calls. Cable Company also put a trace on the calls and they eventually stopped. (I NEVER picked them up). What I was not able to do was to contact the FTC or FCC. Got put on terminal hold. What a joke.
RECEIVED call from 3473420307 claiming to be Jason SMith. Middle Eastern accent. Called back. they refused to divulge their address, said I would receive lawsuit papers in the mail. SCAM.
