Got a call from an automated voice recording saying it was the "IRS" asking that my attorney of record contact the IRS immediately - before I was arrested.
This is consistent with a series of calls and messages I received over a year ago. It is completely fraudulent! Even if the IRS had a legitimate reason to get in touch with you, I am told that they would never call. They do all communicating via US Mail; usually certified. I had similar message from this number yesterday.
They said they were calling from the IRS and was extremely important my attorney get in touch before more drastic measures were taken against me. I could tell it was a bogus call, the voice was very automated.
