definitely a craigslist scammer. just posted a big ticket item and received a text almost instantly asking how much I'd sell it for, even though the price is clearly posted in my ad. blocked their number and changed the ad. stop these scumbags!
Craig's List Scammer Alert!!! Jan 4th. I placed my car for sale on Craig's List. They texted me. Seemed legit at first. I sent them an invoice via PayPal. I received an email (that seemed to be from PayPal) showing payment. I just invoiced them for the car, but they also paid $650 for shipping the car. The funds weren't going to be released to my PayPal account until I sent via Money Gram the $650 for shipping. I became suspicious and called PayPal. They confirmed that it was a fraud.
