I couldn't fully understand the caller due to his accent, but what I did understand was that he was wanting information on my SS#. He said it was of great interest to me to contact him (Robert Willians was the name he gave & he definitely was not Robert Williams)!!! He had my cell & work # & said I would be in grave danger of losing my identity if I didn't contact him immediately!!!
The person who called me from this number was very hard to understand, but what i did understand was something intentionally and issue for police to be at my doorstep on feb 15 to arrest me?!? They are crazy obviously!
Did you try and call the number back. I did and the voice mail recording was so vulgar and disgusting what they were saying. Of course their mailbox is full so i couldnt leave a message.
I have received this call several times and some man who does not speak English well at all told me my name was involved in a legal problem and that I owed money, I told him to never call back and that this was a scam and if he had any issues to call the District Attorney in my county and I would then deal with it. He told me no that I could only deal with him after that I told him what he could do with it. This is a scam and it was out of New York or the phone line was.
They called 3 times yesterday in a 10 minute time span leaving the same mesaage twice. That my name was linked to a fraud and to call immediately. I have reported this same message, same voice and same name being used before from different phone numbers in NY, GA and TX.
