If you are offered a loan over the phone, but are required to pay money up front, IT IS A SCAM!
It is against federal law to offer a loan by a phone call and require upfront money:

"A loan that is offered by phone. It is illegal for companies doing business by phone in the U.S. to promise you a loan or credit card and ask you to pay for it before they deliver."
If you paid via credit card, dispute the charges.
If you paid via pre-paid money card, like GreenDot or MoneyPak or the likes, or via wire transfer, you can not recover your money. These form of money transfer are considered untraceable cash transfers and offer you no chance of recovering funds. This is why criminals prefer these methods to steal your money.
Received a call from E-z (Easy) Cash on Friday, May 1, 2015 from Andrew first and then Michael Smith stated my loan was approved for 3,000.00 and it would be deposited into my account on Sat......No such luck.....Monday morning Andrew called and wanted more money from me to deposit my loan....I told him no more money until I checked the Main Company....I called the Main Company and my loan number was not on file......A RED FLAG went up this is a SCAM.....We have to put a stop to this company BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I need My Money Back

E-Z Money Loan Services- I received a call from this number every day for 2 weeks. I finally answered. I talked to Allex Williams and Mike Johnson who's name was on the document as well. I told him to send me paperwork to look over. I didn't get the first two emails he said he sent but I received the 3rd one. I looked it over and before I could even look it over and talk with my husband he called me back. After reviewing BBB website and now getting this feedback I will NOT be scammed. Thanks for all of the information!!!!!.
Should you happen to read this post, could you post the entire header of the email you received from them? Delete personal information (your email address & IP address). They can be faked, but I would love to do a search and see where the email originated from. I'm thinking Asia, Africa. Would be fun to see, but not surprising.
I do not remember how this # called started for me but I am out over $1,000 from these people. I did not google this # till 7/2. If I had done this a week or so ago I wouldn't be out this money like Mark Mainwaring. I asked for $4500 and was going to get $5700, but was told only had to pay the $4500 plus finance fee of $550. I will report this to the NY BBB and they better do something to these people. I was always talking to a Mike Johnson.
