If you fall for this, they'll demand payment of thousands of dollars via pre-paid debit cards. Ignore them. The IRS doesn't operate this way.

I got the same message to. I got about 10 calls from this number I know that the irs does not do this they send out letters. One day a guy was on the line and said the sheriff will become to my door and that I should wait for them. I didn't believe him at all and you should not either
I just got lots of calls from them too, saying they're are calling from the IRS. The lady sounds very legit, she gave me a name and customer number. Please do not talk to them or give any information. Just hang up the phone and reported it to the police dept.
