Rec'd call from this # claiming to be AOL. Caller ID listed AOL Compliance. Person barely spoke English but said someone has attempted to break into my acct. and they are cancelling something and changing my IPO. I couldn't understand even after he repeated it twice. Told him I didn't trust the call and I hung up.
I got the same dumb story, and he sounded like he is from India, or probably calling from there. AOL Compliance is what my caller ID says. He was like a desperate salesman, even after I insulted him . Now if I was working for "AOL" I'd hang up on someone being rude like I was wouldn't you? He was desperate to get me on the computer, for who knows what reason, and I just hung up.
Received a call from 347-352-0134 stating that a hacker at compromised my AOL account. Caller wanted me to get on my computer to fix this problem. I was not at my computer and hung up the call. I am curious as to how this person got my phone number as it is not registered to my AOL account
