Received 3 texts from this number responding to my Craigslist post in Huntsville, AL!! Wanting to purchase one of our mini dachshund we have for sale when the ad plainly state that I must meet persons interested in person and that I DO NOT ship my animals anywhere!!! Got to be a scam because there is no way someone is going to drive from NY to AL for a $300 puppy.
This person text me for a dog. It was obvious it was a scam. The texts were heavy broken English, and it wouldn't really answer any of my specific questions other than "what's your name?". He claimed his name was Joe. It wanted me to send my mailing address...ec. It planned to send me a check and let my bank clear it, them someone would come get the dog. I called the number in which case It rang and rang till I got a odd voicemail with a larger number ext. I finally told him/it that I tried to call the number and found it odd that there was a huge ext. number. he stopped texting. Sooooo creepy!
Guy responded to my Craig's list ad for garage door( NE ohio) and was trying to give me some line of bull about his 'assistant' cutting a check for the merchandise after he was given my address, etc. Typical Craig's list scam. I texted him that the price was now double, and he said that was ok! just provide my address, etc! So his assistant could handle the funds transfer. He stopped texting when I told him the police were now involved
