We got the same message that said to go put some money that you own for the tax money. If you get this call don't pick up. We have notify this number to the police.
They do. These people are part of a criminal extortion gang operating out of either India or Pakistan. Ignore 'em. They also like to go after recent immigrants from India and/or Pakistan. They want to scare you. Ignore 'em. Go to local police.
They are in either Pakistan or India. The US government can't arrest them and the Indian local police will do nothing, from what I've heard and read. American police can't do much either. But you should still make the report. They are targeting recent immigrants from Asia who might not be familiar with the American justice system. No one is going to arrest anyone for errors on tax returns. IRS disputes are civil matters. Beware of anyone calling you from an unfamiliar number who has a Hindi-type accent. Most likely a scam. Nothing against Hindi people.
I got a call from this number saying the call is State Investigation Agency.I was told that I owe back taxes and three legal notices were sent and since I didnt responed the the mail,I was given a choice either to pay taxes amount by debit card. If i rufuse to pay state will pursue the court case. If I refuse any of the offer over the phone, the caller said he willissue arrest warrant and the cops will come to my home address and arrest me. It was a very intimadating call amd the caller was very threating. My wife google the no and it came back as a scam. THE CALLERS ARE FROM [***] INDIA......THOSE [***] BASDARDS SHOULD BE SHOT FOR HARRESSING PEOPLE FOR NO REASON. ANYONE WHO GOT CALLS FROM THIS NO PLEASE CALL BACK AND TELLL THEM MATHERCHUTE.....THATS ALL YOU HAVE TO TELL THEM AND THEY WILL GET THE MESSAGE.
