Called me on my cellphone. No message left.

Called and left message asking me to return the call as it is too urgent and to discuss how I would be paying the money that I owed to the IRS. Looks like a scammer to me. Be aware!

person identified herself as irs agent and said a fraud case was opened against me

IRS fraud scam - almost lost money. Threatened trial and arrest if not paid immediately.

Got a call from a woman with a French accent. Gave me a "case number" and her "ID", said she was IRS and/or Homeland Security.

Said I need to answer some questions that will be recorded for my trial.

Asked to send me a letter instead. She threatened to call dispatch and have me arrested and held for 72 hrs.
