I spoke with the 'gentleman' today as well. Went on for 10 minutes about how we were audited and owe $4000 blah blah blah. Saw the scam a mile away - told him that I work with the IRS on a daily basis - they promptly hung up. Called back a few times to disrupt their day & tell them that they were reported etc etc. 3rd time I called back the same gentleman answered and threatened me, threatened to come to my home (he doesnt know who I am...) and rape me. I let him go on and on and told him I have all day long to keep him on the phone, we stayed on the line for over 10 minutes. Recorded him. Reported to the IRS and the FBI (for the threat). These people are so scuzzy.

I was going to record him as well, after the 1st call I made and they hung up on me, (I told them a name of a known Tax Attorney and am calling on behalf of "my client" and asked for his name, etc... of course they hung up). but I have no time to play around with all day long! These scumbags have called three times and I don't think they will be calling my number again, after that call!

In any case, anyone being threatened should definitely report them to the local authorities, after all, they do have your phone#.
