I was selling something on Craigslist and this scammer contacts me wants to pay more than asking and then kept asking asking for my paypal info. Person is totally a scammer. Only would text no calls cause he is traveling out of country at this time.

Thanks for posting your experience with the phone number 3473895796. That's exactly what is happening to me this week. Below is the craigslist secured mail exchange that transpired to which i stopped responding. Love their lack of spell check as well. i guess if you were to text them they'd have your cell number for text marketing list. If you were to provide them paypal email account they'd have your email address for email marketing list. I wouldn't have thought in this day and age that you'd need to jump through hoops like this to get either of those. Perhaps they are going for email + cell phone number which gives them ability to break into some types of online accounts!
