It's a scam. They left me a message saying US Treasury Department. Something about "federal detention" and "appearing before a federal magistrate". I haven't seen any mail from the government so I assume it's a scam. But I will call the IRS and ask more questions about it.

Scam. These people are vicious. I have received dozens of calls from different numbers and this is harassment. No one has to put up with this! Stop being sheeple and do something. Here is my idea--- purchase one of those air-blast horns, the truly loud ones. Since they give you a call-back number, call them back, and once they start talking- blast the horn into your phone! It is either that, or we start a class-action suit against these predators. The first way is alot cheaper, less time-consuming and will get the job done. Please don't tell me I am being unkind. When you have been through what I and others have been through, then you can judge. Let's do this!
I just had one of these calls, They told me that they are from the local sheriffs office, me being me I asked which one? He could not state which one.I asked him if he was from Sagadahoc County. Which he could not restate the name. I asked him why he is working for a scam business or if he knew he was, then he stated he was working for the IRS. and the City PD will be at my house to put me in jail, of if I pay $10,000 to a over sea account. I stated to LMAO, I told him to send them. I will have the cold beer waiting for them.Then I told him you cant get blood out of a turn-up. It is sad that these people are calling and being told to say all this crap for $10.00 a week. They do not know they are working for scam business.
