Same thing here. "Officer John" from the IRS, calling from Brooklyn, NY. Also received this same message from another phone number in another part of the country. Total scam. Don't call this number back!!
Yes, got a call this morning. It's the old IRS scam again. The caller identifies himself as a police officer (the call itself is a recording).
Says he has a warrant for our arrest and mentions it's the IRS that wants us arrested. Be advised that the IRS does NOT make phone calls. They will sent you a notice via USPS before contacting you. We have had nothing from them. All I did was hang up after I wrote down the number.
