This number is calling with the same robot voice and same truncated message about charges against me as the number 302-480-2671. I guess since I blocked the 302 number last week these slimeballs decided to try a new one
The robo message has called me 3 times with a message to return the phone call. I finally called back today and 'Officer Ramirez' with a heavy Indian accent said he was with the Bureau of Investigation for the IRS. I told him if they wanted anything from me it would have to be mailed. He hung up.
I have blocked this phone number.
I just got a recorded message (a woman's voice) from 347-390-1040 claiming to represent the IRS and that I had a "lawsuit" against me...and to call their number. Obviously, these scam [***] think I'm as stupid as they are. The IRS does NOT operate that way !! I just wish the FBI could nail them.
I got the same call, they're like you can settle your claim in DC court, or outside of court, I'm like, you're in New York, the IRS is in Texas, and DC is below you, why am I getting a call from some Hindu chick that can't even pronounciate the number 2?
Called me twice from this number and left the same message. Also several calls this past year from other numbers, even one on my cell phone.
At least they leave a message and don't just hang up. And you have to give them some credit for using "1040" for this number!
