Received a call from 347-390-1050 stating that I owe back taxes. I called the number back and the guy said I have a warrant out for my arrest for income tax fraud. So I asked what tax year are you calling about. He said 2012. I told him that it was impossible. I was unemployed. He got agitated, mumble something and hung up.

Reply to scammer
The IRS reminds people that they can know pretty easily when a supposed IRS caller is a fake. Here are five things the scammers often do but the IRS will not do. Any one of these five things is a tell-tale sign of a scam. The IRS will never:
Call to demand immediate payment, nor will we call about taxes owed without first having mailed you a bill..

Demand that you pay taxes without giving you the opportunity to question or appeal the amount they say you owe.

Require you to use a specific payment method for your taxes, such as a prepaid debit card.

Ask for credit or debit card numbers over the phone.

Threaten to bring in local police or other law-enforcement groups to have you arrested for not paying.

They called and left voice message with number to call. I called back. A man with a middle eastern accent answered (which could BARELY speak English) stating he was with IRS. I started laughing. I said "So what does IRS stand for?" He said "Internal Revenue Service, you b%@ch stupid wh#re".....obviously I hung up at that point. How do they get away with this crap?

This number has called my home twice now claiming the IRS is going to file suit for unpaid taxes.  The IRS sends letters FIRST. Never phone calls or emails. I want to be on the search warrant when they kick the door so I can gun face one of them!!!
