They've called twice today first time they didn't leave a message and second time I picked it up and it said the IRS was going to take me to court if I didn't call their number and settle. I know we don't owe anything to the IRS so I'm not worried but it's VERY annoying.
Called me twice today; and several times this week. Have blocked this #. Computerized message states "IRS is filing suit" with me. Which I know cannot be true 1). I'm in good standing with my taxes etc. 2). The IRS would never call and leave a threatening computerized message for anyone.
Called several times letting me know that I was recently audited and owed the IRS monies. They could help and after this call it was out of their hands. Very loud call center background noise. If I did not pay them they threatened arrest.
