I received a voice message from 347-394-1613 saying that I was under federal criminal investigation and that it was very important that I call back today. So I called back in spoke with a man with a heavy accent who said that he worked for the IRS criminal investigation and said that I owed the IRS over $5000 for tax evasion and cheating on my taxes for the years 2010 to 2015. He said the IRS had sent me several certified letters about this and that I failed to sign them so he was contacting me by phone. He was very threatening and said that if I don't take care of this right now, he will have the police on my doorstep immediately and I will be arrested. I told him that I would contact the IRS directly and work this out with an IRS agent and he bullied me by saying this is not an option and that this is the last call I will get from them. And then he hung up.
