Have received five calls over the past four business days. Really? I called them back from a throw-away cell I keep for just this sort of situation. Once the computer connected me, the lady asked me how she could help me. I told her I did't know. They called me. What were they offering? They claimed to be Residence Energy, and could save me 5% off my electric bill, as well as remove charges. When asked about who my provider is, I asked why they would call without knowing that information. They asked my state, as they serve "NY, NJ and PA". Which state did I live in I told her NY. She asked again who my provider is. I told her "me". She gave me the list of providers "they serve". She asked me for the third time who my provider is. I told her "me.". She had the nerve to repeat her question s-l-o-w-l-y. Really? I told her I speak English, and understand English, It seemed to be her that didn't comprehend my simple answer. She asked again, and I responded "me". I told her I am my own service provider. How would she be giving me a rebate? She told me she'd take me off the list. I'm waiting to see how that will happen, as I didn't call from my phone.
I am recovering from brain tumor removal surgery from 3 weeks ago. This Bass Esq has called my house at least 4 times a day every day since I have been home from hospital. I'm trying to rest and heal and my phone keeps ringing! So I decided to answer it today, and there was no one on other end. I would love to unplug my phone, but I have doctors calling all the time. These robo-calls need to stop...shame on our government for allowing this to happen!
