Return the check to him and tell him to send a check for the correct amount and ONLY AFTER IT CLEARS the bank (not just when funds are released, it can still bounce - IT TAKES ABOUT 2 WEEKS FOR OFFICIALY BOUNCE) before will you ship..
the point of this scam is to get you to send him or his contact the extra money - before the check OFFICIALLY Bounces
He's been contacting me, by email/Text only, on an item I've placed on Craigslist. I've asked him to call me, rather than texting/emailing, but he continues to do the same, and never called.
He says he'll send me $20 more than what the item costs, in the form of a MO or Cashier's check.
I've not provided my information as I like to be cautious on these deals. Tried calling this number too, but it's a Ping.com number and can't get a hold of anyone to talk to.... IT'S A SCAM
