My 9 year old daughter received a call on her cell from this #. They had left a message that she was the main suspect for a high profile case and needed to call back with her name ss# and address to receive clearence. I call the police right away and filed a report.
Got a call from this number syaing they needed to speak to one of the employees here. Left name of Officer Frank Harris and to have emp call before 3:30 eastern time to ensure she stays in the right.
It's a scam out of New York or someplace. Chances are you had a payday loan and defaulted, or you had a loan and they sold your information to a fraudulant bill collector.
They are illegaly trying to collect debt. Don't confirm or give them any info. Tell them to mail you something in writing.
There is a good chance they were not licensed in your State to give out payday loans, so don't worry, just ignore them, or talk with them and have fun with it.
Don't be stressed out - you will be just fine (in the U.S.).
