Made call from a private number. Tina Clark claiming to have a complaint in their office against me with my social security number. I have to contact het back within two days to appeal her decision to file it in the county that I'm not even located in.
So I called them back, And she answered. I asked them the name of our company, she Hesitated and then told me it was Alan Weinberg from New Hampshire. I question her because the telephone number goes to New York.
She became very Voisterous and argumentative as did I and she kept hanging up so I kept calling back. Finally another guy answered the phone as arbitration Department. I asked him to speak to Alan Weinberg and he hung up on me.
Fraud! no reputable company will hide their telephone number or not disclose the name of their business.
They also will pull this stunt to where they will smooth a local telephone number in your area and say they are a process server. Do they have papers to deliver to you that if they are unable to deliver them to you they will take them to the county Unless you call 347-407-9446. Do not be fooled by this exclamation point the telephone number is a spoof number and in my case would you call it back it goes to a fax machine.
Process servers do not give you several days warning and there do not get involved in collection activity other than on focus and serving papers and that is it.
They contacted me today to notify me of a claim (something I forgot to pay off a couple years ago). The lady was a kinda rude says she is a arbitrator gave me a hard time to accept my money off something I forgot about. She said they wanted to get about 3 times more from me then what I originally owed because of interest and fees. Claims she didn't have to let me take care of me for the lower amount but she ended up letting it go since I let her know I just couldn't afford it. She emailed me a letter so I would have it in writing, but not sure why she had to practically make me beg for to let me pay it. She claims it was to a point I hadn't responded in so long. She seemed miserable but at least I paid what I owed before they tried to stiff me with more fees.

There is no way a legitimate company would hide their Identity or use spoof calling tactics to contact you to tell you they're taking you to court.
They are nothing but a third-party bottom feeder debt collecting company trying to collect on debts past the statute of limitations and or deaths that were already satisfied and or discharged
They are playing on people's fears and ignorance with their strategies which totally Ignoring the laws Set by the federal Debt collection Practices Act.
