Automated call with computer generated voice on voice mail stating I am being sued by the IRS and I need to return this call immediately to stop the law suit. First, have been receiving these same calls from various different area codes and phone numbers, all showing up as scams on this site. Second, IRS deals through the mail not leaving voice mail calls stating you are being sued by them. Definite scam. This has also been addressed on local news as current scam that is occurring in this area. Keep your heads up people this is a scam call.

i just rec a voicemail from an automated stating i am being sued by the IRS, i called the number back and the man answered the phone stating thnk you for calling the internal revenue service, i told him i just rec an automated message and he asked who was he speaking to i asked who are they looking for, he stated is this the number that we called you at i sd yes, he asked are you and gave my first and last name, (i wasn't calling from my cell they called me on my work phone so my name doesn't register), he than asked was i aware i was being sued by the IRS and smthg with my address, he than went on to verify my address, he did give me the correct address but i told him it was wrong and he sd ok sorry to bother you and i hung up.. i don't know who these ppl are, but it's bothersome that they have my correct personal info, i will be calling the IRS directly and i would like to also make everyone aware of this.... pls be careful
