Same as above said they were from the IRS and suing me got a call just like this earlier in the day but different number. This one has NY area code the other was a Washington DC area code.
Got two voicemails sayiny it was the IRS calling to say they were filing a lawsuit against me and to call this number which I did not. This needs to be stopped!
I have been called several times and was told that the IRS was getting ready to file a lawsuit against me and I needed to call this number. I called the real IRS and was told that IRS never calls taxpayers. IRS always contacts you by mail. I NEVER GIVE ANY INFORMATION OVER THE PHONE.
