First a woman called Tina Diaz but I wasn't home and my husband took the message for me to call the U.S. Department of the Treasury from where she was calling from. She said she could not give him my information. This happened today 7/6/2015 saying they were from the U.S. Department of Treasury. I called back after 5 PM and some man answered saying US Department of the Treasury. I asked if they were calling from a US Department and they said yes. The man had an Indian accent. He wanted the spelling of my name which I said I would not give him until I knew what the call was about and he hung up. Mmmmmm scam to me.
Some left a message this morning. I believe it is a scam. The treasury depth send information via the usps. Do not believe them if you get a phone call
same as above, U S Treasury, class action suit against me. Asking for my lawyers name and number. I told them I didn't have a lawyer and didn't know what they were talking about they gave me a number and an officer's name. Indian accent as well. Totally a scam I am sure. Personally I enjoy playing with them and hearing them get frazzled as I totally play along with them.
I just got the same call. The accent was Asian this time and very hard to understand. The man said his name was Danny Fisher from the "Department of Legal Affairs," and that we should have our lawyer call back or it could end up in a "legal mess for us." Total scam!
