Someone with a thick Indian accent called and said we needed to fax them master card/visa information within 2 hrs to pay a payday loan (that we didn't have) or they would come arrest us and take us to court. They had also called from (052)639-886 (the last digit didn't show up). 052 is not a valid area code according to wikipedia. They had way too much personal info on my wife. During one of the calls, officer Peterson commented on how pretty my wife's voice was.??
THIS IS A SCAM. Scammers pretend to be law enforcement (police, sheriff, Feds, AG's Office, fake cop agencies with made-up names) and using bought/hacked loan application data to extort money for fictitious crimes or your personal ID.

I received a call from this number stating they are investigating one of my current employees. They state they are an officer of Financial Crime Investigations and that it is imperative to call them back regarding the named employee.
The person has a thick Indian accent and appears to be reading a script. I think this is a scam and want to know how we can shut down operations of this nature. It is a waste of my time and criminal that they be allowed to continue operating.
