I got an email from him in Ohio about a craigslist ad I posted.  Boy am I glad I googled his name.  Here is the email.

Hello,

Sorry to email you late i was so busy i just want to inform you to a
mix-up in the payment issued by my secretary,which i believe could be
resolved.The issued Payment of {$2,850.50} should have been drawn in
two checks one for your said item and the other for the car that i bid
for my son from a seller  when i instructed my secretary to write the
check. The secretary supposedly thought you are the same person,so had
your name written in one check and sent it to you, which was  unclear
to the secretary not until i discovered the occurrence.I therefore,
solicit that once you receive the payment,and you cashed it at the
bank for instant cash,kindly deduct your payment for the item am
purchasing and also deduct $50 to the U-haul agent coming for the
pick-up.The remaining balance,YOU SHALL TRANSFER to my secretary via
any Money Transfer services around you,A Western union or Money gram
whichever is convenient for you,I sincerely apologies for this.

Let me know what you think, and if you can handle it with trust,
before i can take the next decisive step, to call up the courier
service for payment stoppage and also file a complain.

Got one too.  Selling a snow plow and he wants it shipped.  He also wants me to take down the listing. His email comes back to a town not far from here.  Didn't get a phone yet, because I was suspicious from the start when he asked about my "item".  I told him in no uncertain terms I would not take a money order or check...cash only and that I would sell it to the first person with the cash.  Then I found this site and emailed him again telling him his email was being forwarded to the FBI.  And it has.

I also have been recieving emails from him, IM SOOOO HAPPY THAT I GOOGLED HIS EMAIL ADDRESS. He recently listed to an add on craigslist that I posted about my coach purse and he sent me the following message:

Good morning,i was unable to email you yesterday because of my busy
schedule i received the confirmation from
the Bank that the payment has been issued out and was mailed by the
courier Service.It will be delivered to your address 2 days from now
according to the courier ,but to my greatest surprise the draft was
issued out for my monthly pay check $1,950.50 instead of the actual
cost of my purchase .

The Bank claimed that i requested for my monthly pay check to be
issued out to you but am very sure i only made a request for the cost
of the goods to be made out to your name .This is a terrible mistake
and i was just informed about this so please once the check is
delivered please take it to your Bank and have it cashed as advised
by the accounting officer at the Bank.

You will then deduct the cost of my purchase plus the extra 20$ for
taking the AD off Craigslist.The rest of the fund should be sent to my
mover via Western union the same day you do receive the payment so
that my mover can make the trip over for the
pick at once. **I will need your immediate response via email assuring
me that i can trust you to handle this with care and have the
remaining fund returned appropriately.

noble through out the duration of this transaction**

how do you forward it to the FBI i want to do that too. Im scared, i gave him my address and all that information i felt bad for him ;/ but once he mailed me saying he wanted me to cash his paycheck i knew it was a scam!!

i just got one from this [***] the other day trying to buy an item i have on craigslist for $150. telling me he instructed  had his secretary get the money order ready but he accidently made two M.O.for 949.99!!! and wanted to know if i would be nice enough to transfer the difference to him minus my amount or a U-HAUL courier would stop by and pick it up! this retard must think i'm new at this. he needs to be turned into the feds!  HILDY
