Bad news time wasting fool. They are mass calling dozens of numbers at a time. if you answer you will be identified as a live number potential buyer for a company peddling a pyramid scheme style utility provided (electric I believe) I had my staff track this down and avoid answering like the plague. If you answer you will be hung up on. At the same time, however, they are documenting that your phone is a live number. You will then be the beneficiary of two services. The first is 10 to 15 attempts to get you to switch your electricity provider. You may pay less, not sure, but the main pitch is that if you sell the service, then find two people to sell under you, and they find two people, you will be rich. Second, and more fun, is that they will sell your number on the market as an operating solicitable cellular number.
I got the call and they had asked to speak with someone who was paying the electric bill. I stopped him there and told him he had the wrong number. He said he'd try the number again and i havent receieved a call.
But i believe they are using an auto dial machine as 20 min later i had received another call on my other phone which has a similar set of numbers and would fall into the auto dial sequence.
Says theyre with Sperian an elec co. Wants to save me money on my bill. Checked with BBB and they're not listed. Continues to call me... 5x today alone.
Received a call from this number. I called back 'No introduction' just a message that said 'press 1 to leave a message - press 2 to send a fax' I blocked the number on my cell.
i get this call at least 2 times a day said they need to discuss my electric bill and said they want to send me a wal mart card and asked for my info. i said you called me if you dont have my info then i dont know what to tell you.
