Got a cal from someone claiming to be a police officer (must be in India judging from the accent) looking for my husband. Since the "officer' was nice enough to leave a message on my answering machine, I returned the favor by inviting local law enforcemnt over to tape the call from my machine and proceed from there.
These foreign national idiots have been calling me continuously for the past two to three weeks from their "boiler rooms in India" or Pakistan. They definitely will not take no for an answer. I have hung up on them, but they ended up calling back five to ten times in a row. "No" is definitely not in their "Indian-English" dictionary". I've managed to control my temper, not using profanity. They have used the crap, "I am a police offer" with me too. To which I replied, "Yea sure, and my brother-in-in law is the Attorney General". Anyway, I've decided the best course of action is to change my cell phone number. Unfortunately, my carrier cannot block calls (they have called me from numerous numbers). I have contacted my State Attorney General's office and they advised me there is not much that can be done, other than to ignore them, as they are located in a foreign country. The best advise I can give is not to answer any unknown phone numbers, do not return their phone calls and hang up immediately. From my research on the internet, it appears local, state and Federal agencies are unable to to stop their activities. It would be interesting to know if any of these so called "foreign" companies have actually sued anyone - I seriously doubt it. Apparently, the only reason they continue to harass people is due to the fact that some people are being duped into paying them. Most unfortunate.
They ha ve been calling my home and my job I have told them to stop and they continue to harras me saying they are officers and I owe a dept I have never taken a loan and dont owe any one
These people me 4-5 time finally return there phone call and I ask them why they are calling me he said I own number for a loan. I told him to stop calling me and that I was going to report him to the police he said that he was going to take me to court and that the police will be at my job are home to arest me. I call the police dept and they told me that this was scam and that I need not wrong but these crazy people have all your information. So please report these people because if someone is going to take you court are arest you do think they would call and let you know so that you could sit around and wait on police to pick you up. Also the the man that calling me his name is officer Steven Johnson.
These people keep calling my work threatening calls.
I almost lost my job over it.And I have heart trouble and stated having stroke symtoms.
Don't know company,Someone saying he is police officer on way to serve warrant. Been going on for months how can this some. Please
