These people are a phishing scam .. they text message the customer pretending to be from Chase Bank informing the customer that their debit card is currently inactive due to a security problem, and asks them to call. When you call, an automated attendant asks for identifying information (debit card account number, 3-digit security code, debit card PIN, billing zip code and house number. DO NOT PROVIDE THIS INFORMATION AS IT IS A SCAM INTENDED TO STEAL YOUR INFO AND CHARGE YOUR DEBIT CARD. Call Chase fraud department or your local Police department.
