Scam identity theft

Claiming to be U.S. Treasury then told me to "go f*** myself" when I told them they were being recorded.  Dialed the number back twice, was answered by different people claiming they were "officer (unintelligible) with the U.S. Treasury.

Actually left a message. Steve Martin claiming urgent matter with US Treasury. Very thick accent.

do people actually fall for this scammer
