Received 2 back to back calls from 347-418-0580 I did not pick up. Couldn't really make out beginning of call in first message. But second message person said their name was something like James Catlin. Indian accent. It almost sounds like an a recording. Claim they are from the IRS I know it's a scam so I just ignore the messages. But it always makes your heart skip a beat even for a second. funny how these companies get your number when you are on the do not call list.
Just got a voice mail from that number. The sgiveaway that it was a scam was when caller id showed unknown caller (void call!). Then the man, speakin in a heavy south asian acenhe threatened to have me appear before a magistrate. Who in the US says that? Someone needs to research American vocabulary before writing the scam script.
Indian answered phone on return call and told me I owed $6930 from an error. I knew it was scam so I went along and then told him I would mail a check to the IRS for my shortage and he said I didn't ask you to do that. He said he wanted to talk to a supervisor and if I didn't comply that he would send a warrant to be magistrate. I said. That's WIERD because we don't have f***ing magistrates in the US. Then I started laughing and he got angry and then I hung up. Lol
Guy with indian accent called me from this number. Told me I owe money, US treasury... blah blah blah. I called him back and tried to order a Pizza, much to my dismay I found he doesn't deliver.
