Someone called me with the same Bull [***] . I told them that I know that they area scam and hung up I don't want your damn money so stop calling me. The only law suit that they can file on someone is a civil suit. Another thing how come they are all Indian. I am thinking of calling the Bbb.
SOME CALLED ME BY THE NAME OF KATHY WILSON SAID SHE WORKED FOR JACKSON LAW FIRM. I ASKED QUESTIONS LIKE WHAT'S THE ADDRESS FOR HER FIRM SHE SAID 305 BROADWAY NY,NY 10007. SHE SAID THAT I HAD A LAW SUIT ON MA NAME AND MA SSN WAS BEING REVIEWED. I ASKED WHAT ACCOUNT DID THE MONEY GO TO SHE WOULDNT GIVE ME ANYMORE INFO SHE TOLD ME OFF THEN HUNG UP
This is one of a few numbers that calls trying to sound serious about a lawsuit. Its one of the less convincing! Drops all the scary words like social security number, state investigation etc. I've been sued by creditors and they certainly don't call to give you a heads up. Its as silly as the calls that ask you to confirm you'll be home etc to serve you papers.
Again, I've been through the process of being sued and this is not part of it!
I just got a call from this number. The person on the other side is using a voice augmenter to make their true voice. They claimed a payday loan company filed a complaint again my SSN. When I asked who, they through out a name. Who the [***] is Cash Advance USA? When I said, no thats not true they immediately hung up. Huge [***] scam!!
