This is a phished number that impersonates the IRS.  Whatever you do, if you already made the mistake of accidentally answering this call, do not engage them or give them any personal information.  They are scammers, not the IRS.  The IRS will never call (or email) you.  I am putting an entry here because there weren't any warnings here yet, and wanted to warn others.  Because there weren't any complaints yet, I called the number back on my burner cell phone, which is anonymous and can't be traced.  The guy answered "IRS" and had a Jamaican accent, and he got really vulgar, really fast.  And since when, if nothing else, would the real IRS answer their phone after only four rings, on your first call???  They never answer at all, actually.  Protect yourself:  don't answer, and if you did, don't give any personal information, or engage them at all.  These are the idiot scammers we'vr been hearing about on the evening news, the ones who call and intimidate gullible or elderly people into sending money.  Be careful!

Recording call left number to return call,said was IRS...tr
Returned call...person identified me by name, after question location , after I ask him to speak English,he hung up.  I called back and got a person name Michael Epsom with badge #0513481 asked location, gave me a address in Washington DC..did no write down..then presided to tell me I owe back taxes..I told him that was incorrect and wanted to give me an number and address to contact...ask for supv. He said that he didn't have one...I told him then let me speak to the president he laugh and hung up.  I called back after about 7 rings he answered using my name..I asked what kind of irs employees hangs up on a customer if a question they ask was not what they wanted to answer...also informed him that this call is being recorded..he ask me if I wanted him to hang up in my face, I asked him did he want to spit in his face....I told him I hope he knew Jesus and Jesus would not take him for the scam he is pulling and I hung up.

Received the same call also today. Their even dumb enough to leave a voice mail message. Robot call that claims it is the IRS. Of Coarse the message doesn't know who it's calling or it would of mentioned my real name. Random BS scammer. Don't even answer it, or any other calls that is not on your contacts list.
