These persistent idiots called our business yet again, this time today at 1443 hours. The phone only rang once. I shrugged, assuming someone changed their mind or called the wrong number. Nope. For some unknown reason, the call was shunted into an auto answering system. When I checked the messages, a confused woman kept saying, "Hello? Hello?" over and over, obviously not realizing that she was talking to a message system rather than a live person. That's happened twice today and both calls have been from some so-called business finance scam artist... I mean company. An interesting and happy coincidence.
I know what you mean! They've been popping up like fleas on a mangy cat -- but are less welcome. We get multiple calls a week - and often multiple calls in a single day from these so-called lenders. I'd need my head examined if I actually took a "loan" from some cold-calling person who spams my company phone.
And once again these persistent pains called our company, this time today at 1033 hours. Apparently they're too clueless to take a hint. I picked up the receiver slightly and put it right back down again so they won't waste my time or tie up our phone when actual customers may be trying to call us.
